Can you offer me swimming lesson?



My agency sent me an email a couple of days ago. He was excited to let me know that there was a client wanted to do a two day photoshoot in India for some magazine. Paid pretty good.. I was just excited to hear the word India. I always wanted to go there but never had a chance. One thing, this is an underwater shoot so he asked me If I was a good swimmer. It is after all a requirement to be able to do an underwater photo shoot.

I can't swim!! As much as I'd love to take this job, I cannot. Aaaargh! I told him I could take a fast track swimming lesson.. but I don't think I can make it in time. Drowning is not an option for any model. Trust me :)

Anyone out there can teach me how to swim?

    I bet tons of instructors and lifeguards out there would scramble over one another to offer you lessons, free or otherwise.

    Hi Tiara, I'm professional Underwater Photographer... I can make you look beautiful with special underwater lighting system. I can make you look like a mermaid... Or even better...
    So would you like to dive and take U/W photo session with me...? You chose the place... Maldives, Phuket or wherever you want... I'll do that for free but with one condition.... You should pose as mermaid and your "big fat" boyfriend will be your background and pose as King Neptune... Hahahaha

    I just want to say that your nico nico intimo photoshot on OB magazine is beautiful.

    I am a personal friend of Salsa. She is your counterpart for that OB magazine photoshot.

    I have known Salsa for sometimes, even before she even started her modeling journey.

    Both of us were very suprised to find out that you are very much an established model. For Salsa, the OB magazine photo was her first swinsuit photoshot, and it was a great honor for her to be paired up with you.

    Lastly, all the best to your modelling career. It is nice to see an Indonesian making waves in the international modelling arena.

    Hahaha...
    tiara menanyakan siapa yang bisa mengajari renang?
    tanyakan lah di pinggir kolam renang, pasti rame, bakal rebutan yang mau ngajarin.
    Suka Air nggak ? kalau suka, ekspresikan saja.
    Kecuali kalo fotografernya pengen elo act like a pro swimmer, repottt...(hihihi.. kok gw sok ngajarin gitu yah.. maap)
    note: temen gw perlu 1 bulan supaya tidak tenggelam
    :D

    hem....I can swim but not diving...hehehehe ^ ^
    well hem how bout if they change a little bit about the photo theme...not underwater but still in water but a little bit upper ;p

    Hi Tiara;
    Just back again in your personal journal..hope u are feeling well today...

    I agree with michael chua, but unfortunately they weren't around u during the photoshoot :) besides that India is very interesting place, try not to loose it in the next chance :)

    Do not forget to practise swimming and diving, in order not to loose any good opportunity in underwater shoot.
    I can't offer u a swimming lesson, because I can't swim too :)

    If ever there was an incentive to learn then this must be it - so next time there is no excuse enroll in those classes - particularly in Singapore where they have exclusive women's classes and it would be less threatening and more enjoyable for you.

    Enjoy and find the life on the waves it is a talent you will never lose and may one day need !!
